Taking inspiration from his Scottish roots, Monty has created an inland links course that takes notes from the great coastal courses. The challenge lies in the countless deep pot bunkers, fescue rough and a design that uses the dominant wind. With more than 6,400 meters from the back tees.
The Montgomerie course hosted the 2013 Irish Open won by England’s Paul Casey.
The O’Meara Course:
Mark O’Meara’s design is the resort’s original course. With a wide variety of trees, the O’Meara course offers a park-like experience. Along the banks of the River Rye you’ll find outstanding beauty and challenge in one. A course that is equal parts beautiful and demanding.
