General conditions when purchasing travel through Verti Tours

Verti Tours is a member of the Travel Guarantee Fund in Denmark with membership number 3539 and therefore all package tours purchased through Verti Tours are covered by the Travel Guarantee Fund.

Booking a trip:

Only when the guest has accepted an offer, Verti Tours has sent an invoice and received a deposit, a trip is booked. The guest accepts the conditions stated in the invoice and the general terms and conditions of Verti Tours when paying the deposit. Including confirmation that the names of travel participants are correct. Any problems or costs associated with incorrect names are the responsibility of the guest.

Payment:

When booking the trip, an invoice is sent with a specified payment deadline for either the entire trip or payment of the deposit and balance. If the stated payment deadlines are not met, the agreement will lapse and any deposit will not be refunded.

Travel documents:

Travel documents are sent approx. 2 weeks before departure. If the travel documents have not been received 10 days before departure, please contact Verti Tours. All times on your travel documents are local times. It is the guest’s responsibility after departure to stay updated on any flight time changes. This can be done via
www.checkmytrip.com
.

It is the guest’s responsibility to arrive at the airport in good time to avoid missing their flight. We recommend that you arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure.

Special requests:

If you have special requests for gluten-free food, are lactose intolerant or anything else that needs to be taken into account, it is important that you make this known when booking your trip.

With the vast majority of airlines, seat reservations are no longer part of the airline ticket price and are something the guest must do on the airline’s website at an additional cost to the guest.

Baggage rules:

Plants, seeds for planting, fresh fruit and vegetables and other plant products such as cut flowers, bark, twigs and branches are not allowed to be brought back from travel outside the EU without an official phytosanitary certificate.

Passports and visas:

It is the guest’s own responsibility to ensure that passport and visa requirements are met. Many countries require that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after departure. You can keep up to date on visa regulations for individual countries on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

If you do not have a Danish passport, we always recommend that you contact the embassy of your destination and inquire about any visa regulations.

If passport and visa requirements are not met, all consequences are the sole responsibility of the guest.

Insurance:

Verti Tours strongly recommends that you take out travel insurance and health cancellation insurance. If you do not already have these, we recommend that you contact Gouda Travel Insurance.

Cancellation:

If the trip is canceled between deposit payment and final payment, the deposit paid will be forfeited. If the cancellation takes place after the full price of the trip has been paid, the entire amount is lost.

Cancellation from Verti Tours:

The trip may be canceled due to external circumstances beyond the control of Verti Tours and our partners. In this case, the guest will be refunded the full amount paid. The guest cannot claim any further compensation.

Complaints:

If the guest experiences a defect on their trip, the guest must contact Verti Tours immediately so that Verti Tours can attempt to remedy the defect during the trip. If the guest does not contact Verti Tours as soon as the defect is discovered so that Verti Tours can try to remedy the defect, the right to compensation will lapse.

If Verti Tours was unable to remedy the defect during the trip, a claim for compensation must be received by Verti Tours no later than 4 weeks after return.

Force Majeure:

In cases of force majeure such as pandemics, strikes, weather or other circumstances beyond the control of Verti Tours, Verti Tours is not liable.
