Accommodation
The hotel is a small but extremely luxurious place. The hotel has 36 double rooms, all with balconies facing the Obidos Lagoon, the golf course or the Atlantic Ocean. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a minibar with espresso machine. Each room has been carefully designed to give all guests a memorable experience in beautiful surroundings. The decor is modern and sleek. There are also apartments for 2-4 people, ask for price.
Golf courses
The breathtaking Royal Óbidos Golf Course on site was designed by Seve Ballesteros and described by him as a ‘great and wonderful place’. It’s a challenging course that offers a spectacular selection of holes and a state-of-the-art clubhouse with beautiful views of the course and ocean to enjoy. Other courses nearby include Praia D’el Rey and Bom Sucesso. Royal Óbidos is a par 72 golf course measuring 7100 yards, which is a true test of golf for players of all levels. This golf course is challenging from the start with a difficult right-handed dogleg, but you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular selection of holes as you work your way around this exciting course. The state-of-the-art clubhouse offers stunning views of the golf course and the sea. You can relax with a refreshing drink from the spike bar after your round on the spacious veranda. There’s also a restaurant and pro shop to ensure you have everything you need during your round at Royal Óbidos.
Restaurant & Bars
Cobalt Restaurant has a dynamic menu and offers a selection of fantastic wines to enjoy with your meal while overlooking the golf course and ocean. There are three bars in the hotel; the Cobalt Bar, the Lobby Bar & the Pool Bar, all of which offer a good selection of drinks. There is also the Legend Restaurant and Bar in the golf clubhouse, where golfers can enjoy a wide range of menus after a round.
