In the former PGA of Catalunya, now renamed Camiral, you’ll find some of the best golf courses in Spain. Both courses have been voted among the top 8 courses in Spain.
Stadium Course
Despite only being open since the late 1990s, Camiral Golf & Wellness Resort has firmly established itself on the exclusive list of Spain’s best, helped by the award of a number of prestigious national and international events, both amateur and professional. The highlight came when the course was chosen to host two European Tour events within 10 months, the Gene Sarazen World Open and the Spanish Open.
A culmination of more than a decade of planning and design by European Tour, Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, the Stadium Course offers an exciting round of golf, and due to the fact that each hole can be played from one of five separate tee positions, even golfers with modest handicaps can enjoy the ride. However, it’s from the back tees that the Stadium Course really shows its teeth.
With more than 6,500 meters from the back tee box, the Stadium Course requires solid play, but it’s not just about strength over strategy. As it winds through the foothills of the Pyrenees, the Stadium Course features a series of large lakes, tree-lined fairways that narrow at specific points, and well-bunkered greens that are maintained to the highest possible standard all year round.
All of this requires plenty of thought and strategy from the tee, and with great variety throughout the round, the golf test here is dynamic and endlessly entertaining.

At more than 5,800 meters long, the Tour Course is far less challenging than its famous siblings, but it’s just as entertaining. Fairways are more generous, but tee shots still need to be played with care as this charming course, like the Stadium Course, is surrounded by majestic forests, with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards lurking in the most cunning positions, meaning that approaches also need careful consideration.

Restaurant & Bars
The bar at LAVIDA is usually lively with golfers flocking for a post-round drink. Guests also have access to the bar and restaurant at the nearby Hotel Camiral, as well as the Golf Clubhouse, which offers a larger menu than the restaurant at LAVIDA.
