Accommodation
Carnoustie Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa is one of the most feared and admired golf courses in the world of professional golf. With several Open Championships under its belt, this is a top-class course and one of the world’s ultimate golf experiences.
With significant investment in recent years, there is more to experience at Carnoustie than ever before. This European Tour and Major Championship venue is just a short drive from Dundee and about an hour and a half from Edinburgh Airport. The Carnoustie Hotel is ideally located next to the first tee of the Championship Course and directly behind the 18th green, providing stunning views across the course towards the Angus coastline.
Many of the rooms at the four-star hotel overlook the course and watching the sun set over the famous land is a truly magical experience. The hotel has a fine restaurant that also overlooks the track and serves a fantastic breakfast. In fact, you can complete your bacon bun and be on the first tee in less than fifty steps!

Golf courses
Championship Course
The Carnoustie Championship course is ranked as one of the best courses in Scotland and also has a reputation as one of the most difficult in the world.
The course oozes history with no less than 8 Open Championships played on its fairways and can be a monster from the back tees. Certain landmarks around the course remind you of the historical events that have taken place here, Hogan’s Alley on the stunning par-5 6th hole, Nicklaus’ bunker on the (par 4) 9th hole and Miller’s bunker to the right of the 18th fairway.
Burnside Course
The second of the 3 courses at Carnoustie Golf Links is the Burnside course, it is often overshadowed by its Championship neighbor but still has its share of historic moments. Ben Hogan scoring 70 to qualify for the 1953 Open, which he later won, is one of the most famous.
The course is full of character and challenges golfers of all levels.
Buddon Course
The third course at Carnoustie Links and also the newest, originally designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas in 1979.
The course is built on former Ministry of Defense land, and after a recent $1 million renovation, it is now an even greater challenge for golfers of all levels.

First-class leisure facilities including a large swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fitness center for those who want to keep fit during their visit or those who want to relax after golf.
