Legend Course
The Legend Course is the crowning glory of Belle Mare Plage’s golf arena and was designed by South African Hugh Baiocchi. The course (6,045 meters) cuts along one of the island’s most idyllic beaches and is cut through the wildlife-rich forests along the east coast of Mauritius. Baiocchi’s concept was realized through a construction process in accordance with USGA guidelines and its greens are known for their smooth surfaces. Every hole is truly unique around this stunning course; from the legendary layout to the views of the famous Mauritian coastline.
The Legend course is ranked as one of the best courses in Mauritius.
Links Course
Added to Belle Mare Plage Resort in 2002, the Links Course measures 5,960 meters and was designed by Rodney Wright in collaboration with golf legend Peter Alliss. Its par-71 layout has evolved nicely since its inauguration and has helped ease traffic around the famous Legend Course. The same water elements and woodlands help provide beauty and challenge. With the clubhouse in sight, golfers must keep a cool head to negotiate the water that protects the final green on this stunning resort course.
Fuel up and play up on Legend’s 17th hole – the island green is located on a volcanic rock outcrop, bathed in the beautiful aquamarine of the Indian Ocean.
