Since Aphrodite Hills Resort was awarded PGA National status in early 2017, it was later named European Golf Resort of the Year in 2018 and Best Golf Resort in Europe by IAGTO. The course also hosted several major tournaments, with some of the biggest names in golf participating in the Cyprus Open and Cyprus Showdown.

Aphrodite Hill’s golf course, PGA National, stretches across the landscape’s two plateaus and is created with lakes, carob trees and lovely olive groves, all part of its exclusive ranking among Europe’s elite golf courses. The course hosted the prestigious PGA Europro Tour Championship in 2010 and will host two consecutive tournaments for the European Tour in 2020. But it is first and foremost a resort course, providing a variety of teeing grounds that make the course suitable for players of all levels.
