Accommodation
Craigielaw Golf Club & Lodge is situated on a breathtaking cliff top overlooking the mouth of the River Forth and the vast expanse of the North Sea. This creates the setting for a memorable golfing experience.
Although the golf course is one of the youngest on Scotland’s famous ‘Golf Coast’, it has already hosted the 2018 Scottish Senior Open and is ranked among the top 80 courses in the country.
The Lodge at Craigielaw, attached to the clubhouse of Craigielaw Golf Club, offers 30 comfortable rooms. Choose from rooms with views of the River Forth course, Gullane Golf Courses and the sea, as well as peaceful rooms overlooking the beautiful courtyard.
Golf courses
Located in the picturesque village of Aberlady and bordering the traditional links at Kilspindie, Craigielaw is not a classic coastal course. Large, undulating greens give the course an American resort feel. One of the dominant influences is the firm, sandy grass underfoot.
As a modern construction, Craigielaw is longer and more open than many older links courses, but the key to good scoring still lies in the short game. The challenging greens and the endless deep bunkers that surround them make this course a true gem.
The excellent practice facilities at Craigielaw make it a haven for some of Scotland’s best golfers.
