Accommodation

Golf courses

Heritage Golf Club has 2 beautiful golf courses; Le Chateau, which is right next to the resort and La Reserve Golf Links, which is up on the mountainside. Both have hosted the European Tour. When you stay at Heritage Resort you have free access to play on the Le Chateau course. La Chateau is a Peter Matkovich-designed, par-72 championship course. The course is both challenging but also playable for the average golfer. The course is set in lush nature with tall palm trees, beautiful flowers and stunning views. A course that many people imagine when they think of golf in Mauritius. A short distance from the Heritage Resort is the second golf course La Reserve Golf Links, designed by Louis Oosthuizen. This is a track that cannot be described – it has to be experienced! The course is built on a hillside and with great respect for nature. It’s a links-style course, as seen in Scotland and Ireland, where the holes are bordered by sea grass, narrow fairways and greens that are well protected by bunkers. The clubhouse is at the bottom of the hillside and hole 1 is at the top. You then play down the hillside towards the clubhouse, which means there is a view of the sea from every hole. Everything about this course is quality. Tees, fairways, greens, clubhouse and service are top quality. This course is not included in the price of the stay, but should definitely be a consideration worth including.

Restaurant & Bars

The C Beach Club has recently been added to its facilities; an excellent place where you can enjoy a wide range of water activities as well as fantastic outdoor dining. Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort also has a wonderful selection of restaurants. The main restaurant, Annabella’s, is located on the riverfront with an open and interactive show kitchen. Gin’ja is a pan-Asian restaurant on the beach, Château de Bel Ombre, an enchanting 19th century manor house, and Infinity Blue, the beach restaurant at Heritage Awali next door.
