The course was recently used for a PGA Challenge Tour event and features a fantastic layout. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic coast, the course measures 6,419 yards from the championship tees and is an excellent test for every player, from professionals to less experienced golfers.
The par-71 course is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Europe, where you can enjoy an excellent round of golf while taking in the view of the rugged Atlantic coastline that makes Portugal’s west coast so special.
Quinta da Marinha is also the perfect place for golf lessons, where the resident PGA professionals use the same technology that Tiger Woods uses to refine his swing.
In 2007, Quinta da Marinha hosted the top players from the Challenge Tour as the venue for the Estoril Challenge de Portugal, which was won by Surrey golfer Ross McGowan.
