Pirin Golf & Country Club: A Guide to Golf in the Mountains Near Bansko
There’s a place where the mountains meet the golf course. Where snow-capped peaks form the backdrop for your drive. And where the price is a fraction of what you’d pay for golf in the Alps.
That place is called Pirin Golf & Country Club. And it’s Bulgaria’s best-kept golf secret. With Verti Golf Tours, you can enjoy a week at Pirin Golf with direct flights from Copenhagen, All-Inclusive accommodations, and unlimited golf starting at 10,495 kr.

The Golf Course at Pirin Golf
Ian Woosnam’s 18-hole course works with the terrain rather than against it. The result is a course where every turn offers a new mountain panorama. The Pirin Mountains rise behind the course, and in the spring and fall, there is often snow on the peaks.
The course features 80 bunkers, four lakes, and a natural river that flows through several holes. Water comes into play on many of the holes, so you’ll need to think carefully from the tee. In addition to the 18 holes, there are three extra holes and a practice facility with a driving range and practice greens.
Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa
You’ll be staying at the five-star Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa, located right in the middle of the golf course. The hotel has 71 rooms with mountain views and bathrooms featuring massage tubs. There are standard rooms, family rooms, suites, and two- or three-bedroom apartments. This makes Pirin an ideal choice for groups of friends and families.
